Here we go...
Monday; February, 25th 2013

~> short and sudden meeting ~> get the result ~> ya, “rolling-period-class” time!
Well, ya... Lil bit shock, actually. But I’m bracing myself to face what’s next. None of my pupils knows about that. So, it won’t be that hard to let ‘em go. I know, I always say to my pupils, “There is always HELL in HELLO, and there is always GOOD in GOODBYE.” I hate goodbye, truly.

Tuesday; February, 26th 2013
In the early beginning morning ~ Tahfidz period
“Hi, Izza!”
“Hi, Miss!”
“Good mood, today?”
“Bad mood, Miss.”
“Why?”
“I’ve heard a bad news!”
“What’s that?”
“(sigh...) what we’re gonna do on our English Class?”
“...rrrrrrr....”

It’s just like got a shot into bolt of blue. Well yes,  it’s just a casual question. But, I don’t know, it seems having intended meaning.

“We’ll run the class like always,” I smiled.
“Seriously? Come on Miss, I’ve heard the news from the 10th grade. You’ll leave our class, won’t you?”
“Hahaha...good news then, you’ll have a new teacher!”
“Why must be our class?”
“Hey, it’s just what we used to, rolling-period-class... So, nothing to be worried about. Udah hayok sini setoran hafalan!”

The same day, 5-6th periods

Actually it’s not my right anymore to have a class in fusion class, XI-IPA. Because of the teacher who should be there can’t make to come to this class, I subtituted her – for the last time.

I just tried to make it natural as it is. How it could run like how it used to be.

I was calling their attendance list as usual – with my own nick name I put to them. Then suddenly Faza shouted, “Iwed is crying, Miss.”

Oh, come on... I can’t stand when I see anyone crying in front of me. It will make me cry too. I said sorry to the class, then I leave the room.

Crying. Yes. In front of administration room. I’m bracing myself to face them, but it’s hard. It was so long I was there. Till Fitzha and Olip picked me up. Then, Ricky, the chairperson passed in front of me. Just checked, maybe.

After I feel reassured, I face them at class. I continued calling them by name, having lectures, jokes, and it ran well.

Finally, at the (almost) end of period, Rosyid asked me permission to have some minutes. Yes, please...

“Friends... Good position, please...” Rosyid says.

Hey hey hey, what are they going to do? A crystal starts appearing on my eyes.

“Miss Rosa, what happen with you? We’re just having a game.”
They start singing, “Terimakasih guruku and Hymne Guru.”

My tears shed...

Ricky and Ilma gave their words as the student’s representatives. I couldn’t say a thing anymore, then Asma called me to get closer, then they hug me. I feel the warmth.

Do yu know my dearest, it seems like I won’t let you go. It became harder for me, and you brought me into hardest situation.

Thank you for the beautiful drawing and writing, your Toblerone, and your love you bring for me.

Behind the scene.

Well, here is how it could be this amazing...
When I leave the class, it was a condition in which akhwat know how the truly situation, but ikhwan didn’t. Ikhwan was wondering what truly happened, then they sent a spy, Ricky, to follow me. Then Ricky told the class that I was crying. Just it. Then akhwat asked to ikhwan,

“Ikhwan, do you know what happened?”
“She’s crying.”
“Yes, we know that. Do you know why she’s crying?”
“We don’t know.”
“We’d like to tell, but please don’t tell anyone obout it.”
“OK! Just tell us!”
“This is the last time she teaches us.”
“What?!”
“Why it’s so sudden. Why you’ve just told us?”
“We’ve already known this morning. No one knows about that.”
“OK! So, what we’re gonna do now?”
“Just do what we can do right now?”
“Do you know what’s Miss Ocha’s favourite song?”
“It must be in English.”
“What?”
“I don’t know”
“How about number one for me?”
“We don’t memorize the lyric.”
“But, there must be some of you do.”
“So, what the others do then?”
“Well, chace the song, then?”
“Ok. We’ll sing the song that we’ve already memorized the lyric.”

J Now, you know, how, special they are for me.

Yay! We Bring Home the Trophy!

January, 27th 2013; Borobudur Hotel became the witness of our battle. We, troops of SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri has completely done with our mission on JSIT competition, in the level of Jawa Tengah. But, we know that it is not the end of our journey. There’s still a long path to go.

Seven throphies we brought home! Congratulation goes to...

First, the biology teacher, great trainer, my roommate, my best partner ever, Ms. Eka Nur Apiyah, S.Pd for her achievement being the winner of “Kreatifitas Mengajar”. So, ready for flying to Palembang for national level, then... well, here I am...ready for supporting you. Don’t worry, it’s not for free...hahaha...kidding... if you need a camera(wo)man, just tell me. Or you need a photographer to accompany you to Palembang, I’m ready for that. Just, let me see my schedule first... :D

Second, my lovely one, Nadia Izzatunnisa for becoming second runner up of Mutsabaqoh Hifdzil Qur’an. Fighting Izza for the rest section of Al-Qur’an. I do believe you can do that.

Third, my charming one, Ilma Fitria Nurika for being second runner up of English Speech Contest. After having our so-called adventurous practice in front of classes, in front of seniors, Mujahidat, green field, and such a crazy place, finally you proved it! Just enjoy every miles and consider all of your time as quality time.

Fourth, my georgeous pupils come from 10th and 11th grade for Accapela Nasyid. Well well well, all of you... just pack your lugage and go to Palembang then! Fahriza Galih Adhitama, Doni Adi Putra, Dita Ian Arumansyah, Atnanta Mada Samodra, Muhammad Rosyid Ridho, and Rahmat Agus Wibowo.

Fifth, my stunning ones, Ilham Hamiddin, Dzaky Sholihin, and Muhammad Rosyid, for becoming first runner up of “Lomba Cerdas Cermat”. That’s great! You can beat all the questions, even the most difficult ones. So awesome, isn’t it?

Sixth, my troublesome but amorous one, indeed, Ahmad Hirzi Fadlillah Tovani. Spending those past two weeks with somewhat joyful rehearsal was such taking a deep breath sometimes. But that’s paid by bringing home the first runner up trophy. So, this is what you would like to take as a gift to your Mom, right?! I’m waiting for “the winner trophy”.

The last but not least, here I am, who bring the first runner up trophy for “Alat Peraga Edukatif” competition (wait...don’t abbreviate the title of the competition, please... “-___-) Well, I call it an accident achievement, actually, not that surprised. Altough I felt desperate at first, wanna go home, and skip the presentation, but finally a sound from deep inside myself, told me, “NO! You have to go, accomplish this! being winner, not loser!” Yeah, it the redeem is.

If I could have speech, first and foremost I would like to thanks to Allah for His great scene he created. My mommy and daddy, who always pray for me and wait for me to come home; Mr. Jamal, who gives me this chance; Mrs. Yuvita, who just trust me to pass this all; all the teachers who always supporting me; all my amorous pupils, without you  all I can’t be that tuff; and not to mention thanks for those to creatures; Aslam Noor Alian and Farchan Bachtiar for helping me accomplish the mission.

Wanna shout this loud, “GREAT SPIRIT, MARVELOUS ACHIEVEMENT, AND OUR DREAM COMES TRUE!” with my amorous pupils, Ilma, Izza, Pingkan, Achong, Hirzi, Hamiddin, Ochid, Jacim, Doni, Samo, Galih, Dita, Rosyid, Agus, “TAKE ACTION AND MIRACLE WILL HAPPEN!”

Have you ever falling in love, Miss?

Always… After I finished explaining English material at classroom, the casual question that I ask to my students is, “Is there any question?”

Well, see what I’ve got today...

FYI, the topic of 11th grade of Senior High School is all about expressing love and adventure of love. In the end of period at class when students and I’ve done reading somewhat love story, one of my students asked me,

“Miss...,”
“Yap,”
“May I ask something?”
“Yes, of course. What’s that?”
“Have you ever falling in love?”

Oh, My God! Excuse me what? Like I’ve got a shot right through a bolt of blue.

“Hey, it’s such a very difficult question for me,” I answered.
“Oh, come on, Miss... It’s only a ‘YES-NO’ question. It is that easy,” shouted another.
“Okey...,” take a deep breath,
“Well..., I have,” I smiled.

My answer has rocked the class, then…

“Okey then...tell us, Miss...,” the other student asked me.
“How it feels, Miss?” shouted another.
“You said that it’s only a ‘YES-NO’ question, huh...?” I replied.
“Yes, it actually is, Miss.... The first point is multiple choice question, but the second point is an essay that needs explanation.”

J Well...well...well...so smart students… Thanks God for having them all.

Surat Untuk Guruku

Kudapati beberapa surat dalam box “Surat Untuk Guruku Tercinta” yang ditujukan untukku waktu Hari Guru Nasional, 25 November 2012 kemaren... Lembar demi lembar kubaca... :D Hahaha... lucuuu!

The day after, ternyata masuh kudapati ‘surprise’ susulan, selembar kertas yang terselip di antara halaman-halaman buku tugas. Awalnya si ragu...Tapi, setelah kudapati footnote yang make sure bahwa itu buatku, i took it!

Here are some of the letters...
I spent a lot of time to understand the meaning of these ones. I’m afraid that my interpretation is so much far from the writer’s purpose. Anyone would like to give any idea?

First...

“I will nominalizin express number one thank you all upon guidance nominalizin like that usual beyond”

Second...

“Maybe this taste amazed first to bottonhole teacher SMA I think you new teacher but you can us take heaart make us feel pleasant and more industrious.”

Third...

“... I dislike when you give me work dormitory very many, hehe ^o^”

Haha...so honest... J

Fourth...
*Yang ini pake bahasa Indonesia si, jadi...mudeng lah yaa...*

Fifth...

“... Sometime I feel strange when I got a “GOOD” mark. I’ve never got it before! I don’t think it’s mine. It’s not fear...”

Lah, dikasih nilai bagus malah protes... Well actually sebenernya tuh surat pake Bahasa Indonesia, tak translate sendiri. Can’t you see the last sentence? So... :’)

Sixth...

“Honestly, I do really want to make my teacher happy, smiling, and proud, but I failed!”

So touch... J

Seventh...

“...Ternyata mengecewakan guru rasanya sakit di hati...”

:’(

Eighth...

“...Dulu bahasa Inggris terasa hambar, I do believe that my (new) teacher has been giving a new taste so mengubah rasa hambar menjadi lezat...”

Alhamdulillah, if so...

Ninth...

“...I started enjoy learning English...”

Good... d(^^,)

Tenth...
And this one...

“...Malah ketika di asrama, kadang ngeliatin jadwal. Kapan ya pelajaran Bahasa Inggris? Can’t wait...”

...oh, so sweet...

Eleventh...

“...You remind me to my former teacher...”

(“,)? *eh*

Twelveth...
*isinya curhat* nggak usah tak tulis ya... *secret* hihi...

Last but not least...

“IBUK AKAN SELALU KUINGAT, JANJI! SEUMUR HIDUP!”

*banjir tangisan haru after reaD all*

A Letter for My Amorous Mom and Dad

Teruntuk Bunda dan Ayah tersayang,
di tempat terindah di hatiku...

                Assalamu’alaykum warohmatullahi wabarokatuhu,
Teriring salam ta’dzim Ananda teruntuk Bunda dan Ayah tercinta.

Terimakasih Bunda, terimakasih ayah, teruntuk semuanya.

Terimakasih Bunda, Terimakasih Ayah. Nanda sayang Bunda, Nanda sayang Ayah.

Ananda
