I Miss the Missing Pieces...

True friends, Taekwondo, EOS, EC, dearest ones, and all memories about.
I miss them...

Have you ever felt you miss something, someone that truly really means so much for you?
I bet you have.
How it feels?

Sometimes it feels like apart thousands miles.
Somehow, it feels warm inside coz you know that they're close to your heart.

Time feels to crawl when you miss them, rait?

Missing someone is not about how long it has been since you have seen them last or the amount of time you last talked. It is about the moment when you are doing and you wish they were right there next to you.

And...
Have you ever felt missing someone who's actually standing a few feet in front of you but you couldn't reach them?

It's not about distance at all. Near, far, it's personally relative.
On my personal view, when I can't hear your heart beat, it just simply means you're far enough from me.

I'm just waiting to say...

Best Part of Melbourne the Novel (Verse #1)

It’s all about friendship...

Hi, dear friend over there!

It has been a very long time we don’t see each other. How's life been treating you? I’ll be always waiting your arrival in the “City of Hope” (If only I'm still being here in couple days more). I keep your promise.

This post is specially dedicated for you. I’ve given you my words, and this is now I prove it.
I took some parts of these writing from Track 6: Collide. It just because it’s so you...

Basically, all about what I wanna say, I’ve written on the rainbow paper I gave to you before you leave.

Hey, wait a sec! You promise me you'll be here with me. Accompany me. Through these all together. But now, how dare you! You owe me one for leaving me alone here... Remember! I will go and find you to make you pay this... *lol*

Well, here we go...

“I’m surprised, many good things happened to my best buddy. She doesn’t go and find good things. Good things go and find her. Well, not to blame, if there are a lot of girls don’t like her, just because ‘she just happens to be lucky’. She has a cool part time job.  Yeah, as her friend, I might be the one who don’t consider it as a big deal. It’s not a mistake if I was not born to be her, I’m not her, and I don’t need to be her. She’s kind, indeed. Between us, it’s not important to discuss who’s beautiful, who’s smart, and so... We’re friends, we’re buddies, we’re sisters. We support each other. When one’s down, another strengthen... We never fight for some unnecessary thing unworthy to fight for... Although, we have a different taste on every single thing. From a tiny thing to the huge one. But, we never take it as a problem that will burden our relationship. Once, or twice, we’ve ever fought for a very tiny thing, but it doesn’t last for long time. It comes to a joke, then...”

Dear, you...

I miss you, I really do...
...although sometimes you are really annoying v(^^,)

After Class...

One afternoon, there’s always one student who used to stay last in the class room, having little chat with the teacher about the subject, out of subject, small thing, big thing, important thing, not important thing, lil bit important thing, yeah...anything,  umm... everything maybe...

Student       : Miss, why you gave this material?

Teacher       : Because this is one we need to master by the end of this semester.

Student       : You know?

Teacher       : No.

Student       : The timing you delivered this material was so perfect.

Teacher       : Perfect, how?

Student       : It was about what I experienced a few days ago.

Teacher       : Oh, is it?

Student       : It is...

Teacher       : You lose someone...?

Student       : No...

Teacher       : So...

Student       : It’s not me.

Teacher       : Then...

Student       : It’s my friend.

Teacher       : Oh...

Student       : What do you think I should do?

Teacher       : Why you ask me?

Student       : Because I think you know what I have to do.

Teacher       : Just give your symphaty.

Student       : But I don’t know how to say.

Teacher       : Just choose what I gave to you.

Student       : Should I?

Teacher       : You asked me how, I have answered, and now you’re still confused. Ah, you are so confusing.

Student       : The matter is... it has been a long time we’re not connected.

Teacher       : Ah! Excuse me? Wait a sec... Tell me now... That person must be so special for you, huh? *teasing*

Student       : No, not anymore.

Teacher       : Not anymore? So, it used to be... haha...

Student     : Formerly, yes, we’re so close, even our parents... But, it’s just that... You know... There’s no special feeling... We’re just friends, okay... No more...

Teacher       : Ahh...seriously?!

Student       : Why you don’t believe in me?

Teacher       : Did I say that?

Student       : You didn’t say that, but your eyes did.

Teacher       : Haha... Coz your face didn’t show that it’s over.

Student       : How you can say that?

Teacher       : Coz I can read your face.

Student       : Really?

Teacher       : Wanna prove?

Student       : Although I give you a happy face but actually I’m not?

Teacher     : Heeeyyyy... I'm accustomed to several fake facial expressions. Lots... Many... So, I’m so familiar with the truth lays behind.

Student       : But, believe me, Miss... Since I’ve been here, I don’t care with those kind of unimportant thing. I just wanna focus on my study... tahfidz,... Yeah...that’s all... No more...

Teacher       : You don’t need to say those things to me, just prove that you are.

Student       : *Smile* You know what?!

Teacher       : No.

Student       : Teacher who can read their students could be a good friend I think J

Dear, Allah...

I don’t know where destiny will lead me to,
Where the path will bring me to.

It’s all Yours,
No power beyond.

I trust You...
What the answer will be,
It’s Your way to lead me close to You.

I trust You...
Where will I be,
It’s Your right You send me to.

Why women are too worried about their weight?

Wow...isn’t it really surprised when there are a lot of people around me asking how to lose fat, do a diet, bla bla bla... Excuse me, I’m not a dietitian nor food nutritionist. Here, I get lots of question related to that topics.

Do I give limitation of food that I consume? No, I don’t. I love cooking, but,  the best part of it, is eating. I never give any limitation on what I consume, moreover my favorite ones; chocolate, ice cream, cheese, mie ayam baso, mpek-mpek Palembang, avocado juice, et.al... I eat what I wanna eat. Anykind... Anytime... Do I skip dinner? Never. Sometimes, I still have sncking till 10.30 pm and I never worry about that. Do I do a hard-core class of sport? Totally not. LOL.

“Then what do you do?” The final question... J

Well, there’s nothing I hide. I have no secret about that. I do just like what you do. No significant difference between our activities, right? Our breakfast, lunch, and dinner are same though...

Do you want to lose some kilograms? Hey, think again! Let’s check your Body Mass Index first. How to calculate it?

BMI = your body mass in kilograms/ quadratic of your height in meters

If your BMI;
  • Under 18.5, you are underweight
  • Between 18.5 – 25, you have a normal weight
  • Between 25 – 30, you are overweight
  • Above 30, you are obesity

For an example...

I have 47 kgs of body mass, and 1,585 m in height, my BMI would be;

 47,5 / (1,585 x 1,585) = 47/ 2,512225 = 18,7

So, I have a normal weight.

Don’t too much worry about it. You have normal weight if your BMI between 18,5 – 25.

Instead of asking how, well, actually, this is a simple deeds that I do to keep it.
  • Fasting

Islam has taught us. The very first solution of any problems comes from Islam. It has all of answer of questions. You will get a lot of benefits by fasting. Muslims do not fast because of medical benefits but because it has been ordained to them in the Quran. The medical benefits of fasting are as a result of fasting.Fasting in general has been used in medicine for medical reasons including weight management, for rest of the digestive tract and for lowering lipids. The physiological effect of fasting includes lower of blood sugar, lowering of cholesterol and lowering of the systolic blood pressure.
  •  Doing Sport

I prefer doing weight lifting rather than other cardio sport.
  • Control Callories

I consume no more than 1500 kcal everyday.

Yea...only that simple. Well, the most and very important thing is, we have to be grateful of what we get now. Just enjoy the life, feel happy everyday. That’s the key to stay healthy ;)

Becoming the 9th from 10.400 in National English Olympiad

rozz's property

Lil bit (choco)late, actually to post this kinda awesome news. But it still awaits in the waiting list to be done. Finally, after all of somewhat more important things accomplished to deal with, here a time to share. No need such a beat in the bush, well ya, here we go!

This is about my summer vacation. Summer? Excuse me? Summer??? Umm, let’s call it holiday season. Ya! Holiday season. Just like how it used to be, I barely had any holiday in holiday season  though the others did. But I always enjoy every minutes of my routins. Never mind. In this season, I spent it in Malang, road to Malang, and road to Magelang from Malang. I was not alone. Noverina and Ms. Feri were with me.

On the beginning of May, there was an invitation from Administration English Club (AEC) – Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi (FIA), Brawijaya University. It was about National English Olympiad, some kinda English Competition at National level. The competition itself is UB GLOWING; Shining, Sparkling, Inspiring. And it was, what made me so mesmerizing.

To get there, we should pass some tests. We conducted the first test in the end of May. It was conducted in our school, SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri. The questions of the test was delivered by the commetee from UB GLOWING, and we had to send the answer sheets back. There were 34 students of our school joined the selections, both 10th and 11th grader. The commetee would choose top 50 students from 10th grader and 50 from 11th grader from all of participant through Senior High School in Indonesia. I hope there were some of 34 could be one of the top golden 50.

The announcement was announced in the official website on June, 18th. I always stayed turn my in front of my laptop screen. Can’t wait the result. But yeah, till dark, its result was nothing. We have to be patient. Finally, I went back to dorm and decided to see the site again, on the next day. Before I opened the site, Hirzi told me earlier;

“Noverina counted in,”
“Really,”
“Ya, number 35,”
“How about your name? Did you find it?”
“I’ve scrolled up and down plenty times, but the result remains the same,”

I browsed just to make sure. Is it that? Nimbly I opened my laptop, turned it on, typed the address, quickly jumped to the semifinalist number 35. Oh, so sad, I didn’t find her name. I scrolled up and down. Again. And again. Still...didn’t find it. Hey, wait!!! I read the tittle... “Ah, this is eleventh grader!!!!” Well, I searched in another page. Nah, got it! Here, here... “Noverina Shirinovski. Number 35. Exactly!” Then I printed it, hurried looking for Rina, gave her the printing, told her to read it completely, after she’s done with it, found her name, then I hugged her. Cried. I don’t know what the tears for, but, I was just happy about that at that time.

In short, I told Bu Yuvita and met the Principal, Ustadz Jamal, not to mention, Bu Nuri ;) Not that short actually, lil bit chocolate, eh, complicated. But, finally, we were going to go for Brawijaya University by the date June, 26th. Due to holiday season, noone left in dorm. Only Noverina and I who left in Daarul Marhamah. We prepared all kinda things that we might need on the competition.

June, 25th

Early morning, after Subuh, Pak Umar and “Si Putih” took us; Ms. Feri, Noverina, and I, to the bus station. We went to Malang by EKA, but we had to transit in Surabaya first. By Malang, we were picked up by Iffatul’s father’s relative. She’s a principal of Islamic School there, also a mother of four children; Shofura, Zahra, Akmal, and Umar. She’s so kind, and they’re so nice. We spent the night on her house.
June, 26th

We packed all of the things and we went to Brawijaya University with those kinda stuffs, just like a backpacker. We stepped on the 4th floor of FIA UB, did the registration, and entered the hall. Ms. Feri met her college mate, Ms. Tiara who also accompanied her students. They catched up there, while Noverina and I entered the hall.

The hall was arranged so well, there are a lot of round tables surrounded by about six chairs in each table. We chose the back row table, so we could enjoy the laser show before opening ceremony in a perfect view.

The Main Hall

After the master of ceremony opened the occassion, the commetee gave a briefing about the competition. There were three rounds. The first round was called BoB (Battle of Brain). The system was like Rangking Satu. There was no elimination. The second round was Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee itself was devided into two round; written and spoken. In written test, there would be elimination. It would only remained fifteen student. For the final round, story telling, there would remained five students, and took three students as the winner, first runner up, and second runner up, and only one student who won the prize to go to Singapore and Malaysia.

When the first elimination was announced, I looked into the screen meticulously, wondering there’s a name that I waited coming up. There! Noverina Shirinovski from SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri. Number Thirteen. Good. Let’s prepare for the next round!

The announcement for the second section of Spelling Bee was attached on the door of the hall. Well got it. Rina got the ninth position. It meant that she didn’t go to the final round. Well, it’s very very very okay, since we know that all the total amount of UB GLOWING participant through all Senior High School in Indonesia was 10.400 participant.

“Becoming 9th of 10.400 is very cool, though!”

FYI, her score were just the same with the participant on 8th and 7th position. Very great. Proud of you, Rin! *tap*

ms. fe ~ me ~ nover
*ups sorry... there's nothing wrong with your eyes, we really did the blur for the photo :p

Well, here we go for dinner. It was also conducted in the main hall. There were several performances; AMC and Yohana (X-Factor). I was there for a lil bit a while, then I walked to look around, out from the main hall. There was a stair with a huge clear window glasses there. I sat down and looked the view of Malang traffic at night. More reasuring, then. I turned my head when I heard a crowd behind. Ah, what’s that? Oh, someof participants took pictures of Yohana. Well, I didn’t really know her, so I just kept busy with my own. Ah, there’s something more interesting on the table I thought. Es Kopyor!  *lol* I took a bowl and enjoyed back that great view.

After closing ceremony, we both of three were going to go home by Bis Malam; EKA (again). It was 9 pm. Before leaving Brawijaya, we took some picture and buy something, some food, and yeah... some others. A public car brought us to Malang town square. Hey, were looking for a merchandise shop, actually. But then, we were lost I thought. We were around looking for public car (again). We found a police station. Wow look! The coolest police station ever! The door glasses, an LCD tv, and air conditioner. The police was so kind too. In front of the station, Rina and I took some pictures.

“Heyh! Both of you! What on earth are you doing! Oh, really! If I don’t come with you, I don’t know whether you’ll arrive home or not!” Ms. Feri shouted to us after realizing when we left behind.
“Wait a moment, Miss. It’s once in a life time,” I said.
“This is the coolest police station ever!” Rina said.
“Well Rina, take some pictures of me here!” I asked.

We got public car to bring us to bus station finally. Yeah, it’s 10 pm. Our destiny was Surabaya. We got there at midnight exactly. Because of the bus that would bring us to Magelang was full, so we decided to go home via Semarang. And a bus again from Semarang to Magelang. We arrived by Dzuhur. How exciting!

Here my holiday season in this season. Though I barely have holiday, I took it as a free ticket to spend the so called holiday. What’s on my next holiday season? Let’s see!
